Cut in an 85% wool blend at 1220g — genuinely substantial, with the weight and density you can see in how it holds the shoulder line and how the hem sits without collapsing. Fully lined. A clean shirt collar, a plain zip front, two three-dimensional flap patch pockets, and no other decoration.
The length is the point. It stops at the hip rather than the thigh, so it has coat warmth without coat bulk — you can sit down in it, drive in it, and wear it into a restaurant without looking like you've come in from a hike. Slim through the body with room for a knit underneath.
Wool holds heat, breathes, and holds its colour. It also softens with wear rather than degrading, which is why a good wool jacket outlasts three synthetic ones.
Stone over espresso, tobacco or grey trousers is the winter version of the warm-on-warm look that runs through the range. Onyx over camel or stone is the sharpest evening combination you own — dark over light, face stays the brightest point.
