A funnel-neck zip gilet, a clean white long-sleeve tee and a pleated straight-leg trouser — three pieces cut, coloured and proportioned to be worn together. No guesswork, no standing in front of a wardrobe trying to make separates agree.
The gilet is a brushed cotton-blend jersey with a full two-way zip, ribbed collar and hem, and two welt pockets. Sleeveless, so it adds a layer without adding bulk — the tee's sleeves do the work and the gilet does the finishing. A narrow contrast tipping runs along the collar.
Underneath, a 100% cotton long-sleeve tee with a clean crew neck. Substantial enough to hold its shape under the gilet, soft enough to wear on its own once the gilet comes off.
The trousers are a lyocell-cotton blend with linen through it — matte, soft-handed, with a subtle texture that catches light the way cheap twill never does. Double-pleated front, straight leg, pressed crease, part-elasticated waist so it moves with you.
Fit
Regular fit throughout. The gilet is slightly boxy through the body; the trousers sit at the natural waist with a straight leg and a clean single break. Model is 6ft1 and wears a size L.
If you're between sizes, or plan to wear a knit under the gilet, size up on the gilet only. The trousers run true.
Styling
White leather trainers keep it modern and are what's shown throughout. A mid-brown suede loafer takes the green and camel sets somewhere dressier — the Ferrand does exactly that. Silver-cased watch over gold with the green and black; either works with camel and ivory.
Composition
Gilet — Shell: 65% cotton, 35% polyester. Base layer: 95% polyester, 5% spandex. Weight 380g.
Long-sleeve tee — 100% cotton.
Trousers — 46% lyocell, 42% cotton, 11% linen, 1% spandex.
Care
Machine wash cold, 30°, with similar colours. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron if needed. The trousers contain linen and will crease with wear — this is normal and part of how the fabric behaves.
